Single Adjuster Apparatus System (SAAS) Training Now Available

Posted on September 29, 2015

Client companies are increasingly requesting adjusters who are certified for the Single Adjuster Apparatus System (SAAS), therefore we are highly recommending you get SAAS certified. We anticipate this will be a large increase in new property catastrophe assignments/deployment requests for the remainder of this year and for the foreseeable future.

Attendance and successful completion of this training will improve your chances for deployment. Standard licensing requirements still apply for the SAAS adjuster, but with higher demand there should be more opportunities for deployment for the SAAS certified adjusters. Once trained, you will also be eligible for other deployment opportunities as Ladder Assist for various clients.

What Is a SAAS Adjuster and What Is Involved with Handling a SAAS Claim?

SAAS Claims involve steep (7/12 or higher) and two-story roofing systems that are inspected by one adjuster using Pilot special, patented safety equipment. SAAS adjusters qualify for SAAS service billing as long as the inspection is performed and the estimate is written using this device when working on fee schedule.

About SAAS Training

You will be trained on how to safely use the SAAS equipment, which is currently the best state-of-the-art tool in the industry to safely handle these specific types of claims. This equipment is currently being provided to Pilot employees at no cost and includes weights, pulley system, ropes and harnesses.

We highly recommend that all Pilot adjusters take advantage of this PAID training at your earliest convenience. There are safety requirements that must be maintained during this class therefore we must limit each class to less than 10.
