This year’s Christmas charity donations exceeded all expectations and marked another successful year Company-wide, we raised $185,182. Donations came from Allstate, DEC I & II ($101,180), Richardon Field CAT Office ($59,000) and Hillcrest/Dallas/Oak Circle/Encompass ($25,000)!
Allstate and DEC Charities donated to the National Kidney Foundation, Homeless Shelters, Cystic Fibrosis, Susan G Komen for the Cure, Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes, Bay Area Food Bank, American Heart Association, American Diabete Association, The People of Mars Hill. Volunteer America distributed over $35,000 of bikes, toys and electronics to local charities.
Hillcrest/Dallas/Oak Circle/Encompass donated to Camp MASH, American Cancer Society, Families in Need, Santa America, Bay Area Food Bank, Sav-a-Life, McKemie Place, Camp SMILE, Penelope House, St. Jude’s, Make A Wish, and Alabama Baptist Children’s Home.
The Richardson Field CAT Office’s donations included food for the Food Bank and Thanksgiving/Christmas boxes given directly to families. Children in local schools received over 400 coats, hats, gloves, blankets and pillows to keep them warm this winter. The Richardson Office also took children’s names from local Angel Trees and provided gifts not only for the child on the tree, but also for all the children in the household.
In the last 10 years, Pilot’s partners, staffers and adjusters have raised a total of $811,389.00 in donations and gifts! We are exceptionally proud of the time and energy everone has put into making sure that the Christmas season is very special for people and organizations in need.
We think our partners, staffers and adjusters exemplify the true meaning of Christmas—giving, sharing and caring. Thank you is inadequate in expressing our appreciation, but we thank them nonetheless for their generous donations and support.
